The
Civil Engineering Department of
The
Johns
Hopkins
University
seeks to complement
and/or strengthen its existing research thrusts in structural
engineering/mechanics/materials, probabilistic methods/hazard
management, geotechnical engineering/geomechanics, and coastal/ocean
engineering. One or more tenure-track or tenured faculty appointments will be
made (rank is open) and anticipated start date is Fall 2005. An earned
doctoral degree is required. Duties include the teaching of
undergraduate and graduate courses and the development of an
externally funded research program. Further information may be
