Historical Details: The completion of the Key Bridge marked the end of construction for the Baltimore Beltway (I-695).
Technical Details:

The structure combines the behaviors of an arch, truss and cantilever.  With no expansion joints, this bridge is the second longest continuous steel truss bridge in the United States.
