Year Built: 1869 (fabricated); 1887 (erected on site)
Structural Form: Bollman Truss Bridge; cast and wrought iron
Historical Details: Once used in large numbers for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, this is the last remaining Bollman Truss Bridge in the United States. The bridge is unique in that it uses wrought iron diagonal tension members and cast iron posts (compression members)
