Full Scale Measurements On The
Kern P. Pitts Center

Electrical Support

The system has been designed in a modular fashion to accommodate expansion and change. In January of 1997 a cabling network was installed throughout the structure. The initial study is concentrated in the southeast corner of a small second floor room. In addition to the cable necessary to conduct the preliminary study, cable was pulled through out the remainder of the structure so that new areas of interest can be studied. Junction boxes are located at 10 key locations throughout the structure. The locations were chosen in areas where there is some potential interest for a detailed study in the future (i.e. garage door, dormer, chimney, etc.). These boxes will allow additional instrumentation to be installed with little or no disturbance of the finished structure.
