The
fundamental goals of this research effort are to:
- measure wind-induced pressures on this low-rise
structure in a variety of wind conditions up to and including hurricane-force winds
- estimate forces in structural members during these
extreme wind events
- measure structural displacements
- better understand the nature of the wind during
these storms
