Our group’s elastic buckling software CUFSM – which is fully detailed at this website and on GitHub. Has had a major update including compiled versions for PC and Mac. Highly encourage people to go take a look and take avantage of almost 30 years of continuous development with this highly efficient cross-section buckling solution.
The new version is faster (though installation is still so slow with the Matlab libraries) has new efficient page loads and 3D buckled shape visualizations – as well as new improvements to the solver and the constrained finite strip method. Underneath the hood a new variant of the constrained finite strip method is available as are vibration solutions – though these features are not yet in the GUI. Learn more at the links above.
