About

I am from Seoul, South Korea, and got Bachelor’s and MA/Ph.D’s degrees at Seoul National University. Then, I joined Johns Hopkins University as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in 2010. I participated in the DARPA MCMA (Materials with Controlled Microstructural Architecture) program and performed research regarding simulation and design optimization of 3D woven micro-structural materials.
